With the purchase of shares of Croton Bank, Tiney M. McComb formed Heartland BancCorp in 1988. A 33 degree Mason and former Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland Board Member, he focused on shareholder value as well as sound and innovative banking principles that maximized bank profits and growth.
While Heartland Bank is indeed proud of its past success and achievements, we are even more excited about the future. As the dramatic consolidation among financial institutions continues, Heartland Bank is clearly emerging as central Ohio's premier community bank. We have amassed a talented group of community bankers who believe that quality customer service and personalized attention should be the guiding light. Heartland Bank's business philosophy can best be described by the Bank's Mission and Shared Values statements. Heartland differentiates itself from others and does not seek to emulate larger financial institutions but rather continues to define itself as a customer-oriented small business and retail bank, with strong relationships which are enhanced through well-trained, caring employees with unquestionable integrity who practice sound and innovative banking principles.
We continue to focus on relationship banking and provide products and services that meet the needs of our clients. We view client relationships as a long-term proposition. In addition to assisting the current financial needs of our clients, we expect to be able to assist them with future financial needs. Relationship banking means caring about you, your family and your business, and we want to guide you to greater success. At Heartland superior service and expanded client relationships are our highest priority.
Heartland Bank has established a tradition of service to local communities and attracts clients who share the belief that the Bank is an integral part of community growth and prosperity. Heartland supports worthwhile efforts of community organizations, educational systems and youth activities and our employees have built a solid business on the tradition of service.
We would like to personally invite you to do business with us. Heartland Bank's values remain the same: a strong belief in honest, hard work and personalized customer service. We invite you to visit your local branch office and experience the difference a community bank can make.
