Proud to be a Part of Attorney Greg Mansell's Success

 Sunday, April 27, 2014

If you’ve ever been unjustly fired from a job, lived through a hostile work environment or fought with a previous employer over breach of contract, you might have needed the service of an employment attorney. Employment law governs the rights and duties between employers and workers. Also referred to as labor law, these rules are primarily designed to keep workers safe and make sure they are treated fairly, although laws are in place to protect employers’ interests as well. Employment laws are based on federal and state constitutions, legislation, administrative rules, and court opinions.

Heartland Bank client Greg Mansell is passionate about being a Columbus employment attorney. He understands the key to success for his clients is achieved through hard work, dedication and most importantly, communication. After his graduation from The Ohio State University College of Law in 2009, he started out in a small firm but has since opened his own practice in a historic building in the Merion Village area on South High Street in Columbus. Greg nicknamed the 1900 era building The Carmen after his beloved grandfather.

In addition to his legal practice, Greg owns a real estate business and manages both personal and retail condos in the short north and downtown areas. In addition to the dream of opening a law firm in New York City, he’d also like to own a high rise building here in downtown Columbus. He is proud to have been recognized by his selection for inclusion in Super Lawyers, Rising Stars 2014.

As a young lawyer, he’s thankful for the counsel from partnerships with other attorneys in town, in addition to his relationship with his business banker at Heartland, Stuart Schloss at the Gahanna branch. “Stuart made it easy! He came recommended to me from an attorney friend and stepped in at the 11th hour when another bank tried to double the down-payment required to purchase The Carmen. After Stuart’s quick walk-through, the deal was closed in just one week. If it wasn’t for Heartland Bank, I would have had to wait to open my firm and wouldn’t be where I am today.”

Let Heartland Bank help you take action to firm up your finances today!
