Dr. Todd Clark has always had a passion for helping people. In 1999, just one year after he graduated from optometry school, Dr. Clark began his practice on Cleveland Avenue. Image Optical was created to provide the best eye care experience in Columbus, combining exceptional service and unique eyewear in one convenient location.
As the practice grew over the years, they eventually outgrew their space. The good news is, Heartland Bank was there to come to the rescue, and helped him obtain a new office and modify it so that it fulfilled more of his growing needs. His new office in Westerville has been open since October of 2011, with more of modern, new feel to it. “Moving has been our biggest challenge so far. People are still programmed to go to the old location,” he stated.
Dr. Clark views eyewear as art and believes in community involvement. This is why he also has a location in the Short North. It serves as the canvas for local artists hosting events during gallery hops – a great way to bring art and community together.
Over the years, advances in technology have given him the capability to take better care of his patients. For example, if a patient has a specific issue they are dealing with, Dr. Clark can better monitor the situation and get them the solution they need.
Looking down the road, Dr. Clark says he would like to have a couple more locations. Additional locations would help him to promote community involvement and to spread the message that Image Optical treats people the way they should be treated when it comes to their eye care needs.
