Hard to Believe It's Been Nine Years at Friendship Village of Dublin

 Sunday, August 24, 2014

Friendship VillageIn 2005, Heartland Bank opened an office at Friendship Village of Dublin, a local retirement community built on quality, stability and attention to detail. Nine years later, we’re still proud to be a part of the Friendship Village family. In addition to Heartland Banker Cheril Lee, who oversees the daily operations from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., there is an ATM machine in the lobby of the facility.

On Thursday, August 28, Heartland Bank will host the 9th anniversary celebration for the residents of Friendship Village. They will enjoy an update from Chairman, President & CEO, G. Scott McComb and he will answer the question “Will my CD ever make money again?”

Four lucky residents will be randomly selected to receive door prizes among which will be two Heartland throw blankets. Following tradition, the afternoon will end with each resident receiving a warm loaf of Heartland Honey Wheat Bread, fresh from Westerville’s Great Harvest Bread Company.

Heartland Bank has been serving the communities of Central Ohio since 1911, and is committed to building and expanding a solid, customer-friendly community bank. Chairman, President & CEO, G. Scott McComb said, “Heartland Bank is the kind of bank where you are known and where your business is appreciated. We pride ourselves on being a true community bank - we strive to give back to our community some of the rewards they have given us. We are pleased and proud to be able to serve the residents of Friendship Village of Dublin and its employees.”

Friendship Village of Dublin was opened in 1981 by a group of Columbus citizens with experience in the field of senior living who were committed to developing a not-for-profit retirement living community to serve the people of Columbus, Ohio. This same organization owns and operates the community today. Their dedication and success are evidenced by the fact that many former board members have, over the years, chosen to become residents of Friendship Village of Dublin.
