Heartland Bank is proud to sponsor many events in the communities we serve, from Gahanna’s Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival and Johnstown’s Fireman’s Festival, to Westerville’s Music & Arts Festival, Reynoldsburg Tomato Festival and Grove City’s Arts in the Alley. But the event that’s been around the longest AND is celebrated near the community where Heartland Bank has its roots, is the Biggest Little Fair in the World, the Hartford Fair.
For the 155th year, the Hartford Fair brings family fun, food and entertainment to the northwest corner of Licking County and will feature, among other things, livestock, carnival rides and of course, cotton candy, funnel cakes, corn dogs and delicious deep fried oreos. Are you looking for some crash ‘em/smash ‘em excitement? Come on out to the Fair on Heartland Bank Day to see the annual Demolition Derby on Wednesday, August 7 (7:30 p.m.)
Are you considering a day at the Fair but don’t have a lot of money to spend? Stop by on opening day (Saturday, August 3), when the Fair Board will be commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Hartford Junior Fair with an exciting day that includes free admission for all, reduced amusement ride prices, a Phil Dirt & the Dozers concert and fireworks display.
Highlights of each evening’s free entertainment in the fairground grandstand include:
