If you’re a regular reader of our Heartland Bank homepage website stories, you’ve noticed that there have been a few about our partnership with Columbus radio station CD102.5. We certainly hope that you’ve taken our advice to Listen Local and Bank Local!
Heartland is proud to announce a new partnership with CD102.5 and we hope you’ll listen in at the top of each hour to hear the following naming rights identifier:
“Broadcasting live from the Heartland Bank studios in the Brewery District! Experience how good banking can feel at central Ohio’s community bank, the OFFICIAL bank of CD102.5”
CD102.5 had humble beginnings. In 1990, the station was called CD101 and the staff set out to build a great progressive radio station in Columbus. Twenty-three years later, through a lot of hard work, creativity and more than a few ups and downs, the station has thrived. Not only do they rate near the top of the Columbus market but they’re also the only commercial independently owned alternative station in the top 100 markets in the country. CD102.5 is proud to support local music, bring in bands that wouldn't normally stop in Columbus and put on low-cost concerts to make live music accessible to everyone. Heartland Bank was a proud presenting sponsor of one of those concerts last summer – the annual, sold out Summerfest concert at the LC Pavilion.
Randy Malloy, President and General Manager of CD102.5, decided to entrust the financial future of his radio station to the team at Heartland Bank. He’s never been sorry. “Heartland has a small bank feel but a large bank capacity. They are locally owned and operated, just like us!” In addition to the great relationships that he’s developed with the staff at Heartland Bank, Randy enjoys working with Chairman, President and CEO, Scott McComb “Scott is personable, genuine and has a salt of the earth feel to him,” stated Malloy.
Are you looking for financial advice? Someone to guide you down the path to financial freedom? We hope that you’ll take Randy Malloy’s advice and call on the professionals at Heartland Bank. And, don’t forget to turn your radio dial to the Alternative Station, CD102.5!
