2012 Freedom Festival - A Tradition Continues

 Sunday, July 01, 2012

2012 Freedom FestivalContinuing a tradition of sponsoring great events for our community, Heartland Bank is again proud to be one of the sponsors for the 2012 Freedom Festival. The City of Gahanna is making preparations to celebrate the Fourth of July with the annual parade and the Welcome Home Freedom Festival at Gahanna Municipal Golf Course.

The parade, organized by the Gahanna Lions Club with the theme “We Serve”, will begin at10:30 am starting at Havens Corner and Hamilton Road. It will head west on Granville Street, west on US Route 62 to Stygler Road. It will continue north on Stygler Road and end at the Royal Plaza Shopping Center parking lot.

Once the parade is over, the Gahanna Division of Police is asking parents and guardians to pick up participants at the Royal Plaza Shopping Center. Access to the plaza is from eastbound Agler Road or southbound Stygler Road only.

The 2012 Welcome Home Freedom Festival continues the celebration, thanks to community businesses and organizations including Heartland Bank, CD 102.5, the Gahanna YMCA, the Gahanna Jaycees and the Gahanna Parks & Recreation Foundation. The event also calls attention to and support of the Central and Southern Ohio USO.
