Get to Know Stuart Schloss - This Month's Employee Spotlight

Saturday, August 16, 2014

Stuart SchlossIf you ask Vice President, Commercial Lender Stuart Schloss about his goals for the future, he might mention something about retiring to a Caribbean island. The avid outdoorsman enjoys mountain biking, kayaking, SCUBA, archery, camping and hiking, just to name a few of his “in my spare time” pursuits. But before he buys a one way ticket to an ocean paradise, he’s working toward an even loftier goal: to help launch Heartland Bank into a billion dollar financial institution. Pretty impressive aspirations for both his personal and professional life.

The import tax placed on vegetables (but not fruits) protected U.S. tomato growers at that time from foreign markets.

Heartland Bank Saves the Day for This (New) Small Business Owner

Monday, June 23, 2014

He was soon fortunate to hire on at Dublin Road Auto Care and the owner of the shop taught Paul the ins and outs of running a repair shop. At that time, he certainly had no inclination that good days were ahead of him.
