Like many young college students, roommates Hector Lamourt, Aaron Bracone and Michael Pierro dreamed of opening a successful business someday. Through their research, the roommates and friends Susan Vanac and Jonah Pike, found there was a vast need in the field of Developmental Disabilities. After successfully reaching out to Miami-based Chrysalis Health and URUS Holdings from Miami for start-up funding, they opened PALS Chrysalis Health in 2010.

The Columbus Crew unveiled its new brand and visual identity at an exclusive event at the LC Pavilion last week in downtown Columbus. Evolving to Columbus Crew Soccer Club in 2015, Investor-Operator and Chairman Anthony Precourt revealed the club's new badge at the ceremony alongside Columbus Mayor Michael B. Coleman, Major League Soccer Commissioner Don Garber and the entire Black & Gold roster, including the club's newest addition, striker Kei Kamara.

When Linda Hercenberg started volunteering for the Teen Challenge Columbus program 28 years ago, there was no way of knowing that she would eventually be named Executive Director of the 44 year old non-profit organization. “I believe that I volunteered in every area there was,” she said. “Now as executive director, my goals are to expand the center and raise community awareness through outreach to area churches, community centers and other faith based ministries.

Arts in the Alley Celebrates 35 Years of Fun in Downtown Grove City

Celebrating 35 years in 2014, Arts in the Alley is held the third weekend of September every year in downtown Grove City. Hosted by the Grove City Chamber of Commerce (GCCC), more than 100 juried exhibitors display and sell fine art, photography, jewelry, crafts, fabric art, glasswork, pottery and wood creations. A variety of musical entertainment is also featured throughout the weekend – high school marching bands and show choirs, jazz, blues, classic rock, folk, gospel, country and much more. Heartland Bank's 17th Annual Charity Golf Classic Sold Out This Year!

2014 Heartland Bank Charity Golf ClassicWhat started out as an effort to help a few local children’s charities in 1996 has blossomed into a full-fledged annual fundraising event that has been gaining momentum in each of the last 16 years. Since that first golf outing in 1996, when the Bank made a small donation to the Licking County 4H Horse Council to last year when five local charities selected by the Bank collected a total of $25,000, Heartland has made benevolent donations of almost $320,000. Former recipients of funds from the Charity Golf Classic include Big Brother & Sisters of Central Ohio, Ronald McDonald House, March of Dimes, the Buckeye Ranch Foundation and Junior Achievement, among many others.

Friendship VillageIn 2005, Heartland Bank opened an office at Friendship Village of Dublin, a local retirement community built on quality, stability and attention to detail. Nine years later, we’re still proud to be a part of the Friendship Village family. In addition to Heartland Banker Cheril Lee, who oversees the daily operations from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., there is an ATM machine in the lobby of the facility.
