01-Jun-2011 GAHANNA, OHIO - June, 2011…US Banker Magazine just released its annual list of the Top 200 Community Banks and Thrifts in the nation. Gahanna-based Heartland BancCorp was ranked as the 97th Best Community Bank in the Nation out of approximately 7,500. Heartland BancCorp was ranked 112th in 2010 and moved up to 97th place in 2011. Heartland BancCorp is the only community bank in Central Ohio to make the list. The annual list is comprised of a measurement based on a three-year average return on equity.
