Heartland BancCorp Moves from 159 to 112 in U.S. Banker Top 200 Community Banks List
14-Jun-2010U.S. Banker Magazine just released its annual list of the Top 200 Community Banks and Thrifts in the nation. Gahanna- based Heartland BancCorp moved from a 159 ranking in 2009 to 112 as of June, 2010, the only community bank in Central Ohio to make the list, and 1 of 12 ranked in the state. The ranking is based on a 3-year Average Return on Equity (ROE), which is calculated by taking annualized net income divided by average total equity.
